Hi All,
I am working on a deployment involving vSphere 6.5 and Cisco UCS B200M4's. I cannot get the M4's to detect any iSCSI storage adapters and cannot create any software iSCSI adapters. If I provision B200M3's, I see a "MegaRAID SAS SKINNY Controller" storage adapter and can create a a software iSCSI adapter off that. The M4's boot blank from a storage adapter perspective.
I downloaded the latest Cisco VMware driver pack from Cisco's website and it tells me to go here "https://my.vmware.com/group/vmware/details?downloadGroup=DT-ESXI60-CISCO-FNIC-16028&productId=491" That link talks about FCoE which isn't something this deployment is going to use (just using 10GB iSCSI). Regardless, I try deploying that driver via VUM and the host doesn't detect it as an applicable install and goes into a Compliant mode with VUM.
Has anyone deployed 6.5 with UCS B200M4's? Any tips on what driver is needed to get a Storage Adapter to show up? I am trying to do a stateful AutoDeploy install of ESXi to a boot lun...but since I cannot get any storage adapters to detect, the stateful install fails to find the datastore/boot lun. I can get this to work just fine on the M3's, so not sure if its something different on the M4's, missing driver, etc.
